Cathy is the founder and president of Frontera Recruiting Solutions in Lethbridge, Alberta where she works as an immigration consultant. She assists companies and individuals with immigration processing to ensure they are compliant with government regulations regarding their legal status in Canada. Her clients, who hail from many countries around the world, seek to apply for permanent or temporary residency. They include employers, visitors, students, workers, families, and individuals who need assistance with immigration applications. Cathy was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Prior to becoming an immigration consultant, she started 3 small businesses while staying at home with her 5 children. She started her first business when she had 3 young children - bringing her kids along to meetings when necessary. She sold this business after 4 years, and later she helped her children found and operate a business to provide them with meaningful work experience while funding their college tuition, church missions and weddings.
Cathy believes in the power of giving back and is actively involved in caring for those in her community. Currently she assists refugee families assimilate to Canada, leads the service efforts in her church community, and plans and executes high adventure camps for young women. Above all, she loves watching her children develop into responsible citizens and caring adults.

She also owned and managed a retail/wholesale business in the agricultural sector before moving to Canada in 2008.
Monica has worked at Frontera since 2014, first as an Administrative Assistant and then since 2019 as Office Manager and Immigration Consultant.
Monica experienced first-hand the difficulties of navigating through the different immigration processes. Her journey from temporary resident to permanent resident and then to Canadian Citizen was long, and thus, this inspires her to help others. She is passionate about assisting others in reaching their goals in Canada. Her work ethic is led by her core values: honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

Jerlex LuceroJerlex is an Office Senior Administrator at Frontera Immigration Consulting. She has over six years of work experience in office administration and has an excellent history in performing under high-volume, high-pressure environment. She competently manages administrative duties at Frontera Immigration Consulting. Jerlex holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Far Eastern University in the Philippines.

Laarni PorrasLaarni Porras has been working as a Human Resource Manager and Administrative Clerk with Frontera Immigration Consulting since 2012. She holds a bachelor’s degree of Business Administration from St. Paul University in the Philippines. Laarni is fluent in Tagalog and Hiligaynon.

Andrea Carolina Diaz RomeroBorn and raised in Colombia, Carolina has extensive experience studying and teaching languages. She holds a B.A. in Spanish, English and French from La Salle University; and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics of Spanish as a Foreign Language from La Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She has presented on topics including the evaluation of language learning websites in Florence, Italy. Her writing has been published on the Informing Science Institute website.

In 2017 Carolina immigrated to Canada. She has been working with Frontera Immigration Consulting since 2018, and has become a specialist in Labour Market Impact Assessments. Carolina has also been supporting Frontera Immigration in developing a program for DEVO CANADA to assist foreign workers improve their language skills for the IELTS and CELPIP exams.

Jennyrose Lumen NazarJennyrose is an optimistic team member and passionate on team enrichment and delivering excellent customer service at Frontera Immigration Consulting. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication with specialization in Public Relations at San Sebastian College Recoletes, Philippines. Jennyrose has more than 10 years of experience in administration and in customer service line. Jennyrose has held different positions with hands-on accomplishments in team operations, staff development, and strategic plan in local store marketing.

Zohal Naqshbandy

Originally from Afghanistan, Zohal immigrated to Canada in 2016. She has a BA in economics and is a registered immigration consultant. Before she immigrated to Canada, she co-founded a non-profit organization in Afghanistan that focused on Women and Children's rights. She has taught university-level Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, and has volunteered with university students preparing for TOEFL and IELTS exams and applications to study abroad. She finds value in helping people to understand their goals, to seek opportunities, and to learn to respect other people and cultures. Zohal speaks Persian, Pashto, Urdu, Hindi and English.

Lorena LaganaoLorena is the newest member of the team and immigrated to Canada in 2022. She holds the position of Administrative Clerk at Frontera Immigration Consulting. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Tarlac State University in the Philippines. Lorena worked as an Accountant for more than 15 years at Forever Living Products Philippines Inc., an international company and one of the large taxpayer companies in the Philippines. With over 15 years of experience, she embodies the core values of loyalty, dedication, and continuous growth. Lorena loves learning and she constantly looking to grow and find new ways to become a better and more qualified employee. She is eager to apply her skills and knowledge to contribute to the continued success of Frontera Immigration Consulting.

Marshal Wiebe

Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Canada, Marshal has travelled across Canada, the United States, and Europe. He has visited Colombia and Burkina Faso, and has lived and worked in New Zealand and Uganda. He has strong ties to Uganda and continues to volunteer with humanitarian projects there. He has also volunteered with newcomers to Canada from Uganda and Burma.
Marshal has a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge. He enjoys learning about and experiencing other cultures. He is passionate about empowering people to realize their dreams, especially those who are marginalized and/or disadvantaged. Combine this with his love of administration, and Frontera Immigration provides him the ideal place to work. |
